Host Home Provider of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Rigzin on her award! This write-up was produced by Abby on the Loveland Team-

I would like to nominate Rigzin for HHP of the month. After living with her family her whole life, Andrea moved in with Rigzin last November. This was a huge transition and change for Andrea. Since then, Rigzin has given her a safe environment to live her best life. She feels that her and Andrea were “meant to be” when it comes to being a host home provider.

On my home visits, Andrea has been more engaged and smiling more each time I go for a visit. Rigzin also makes sure that Andrea is still able to connect and spend time with her family, who are very important to her. Other than helping Andrea stay happy and healthy, Rigzin also excels on the paperwork side and always ensures that documentation is completed and turned in in a timely manner. She is great at communicating with Andrea’s team, and always stays on top of everything.

Thanks again, Rigzin, for being such a wonderful provider!!

New Support Inc. RN Case Manager

Please join us in welcoming our new Registered Nurse, Erin Gordon (RN)!!! Read more about Erin below.
“Hi there! My name is Erin Gordon, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Support, Inc. team as a new RN Case Manager. I’ve spent the last few years working as a nurse in mental health with a focus on community mental health and substance abuse. I moved to this beautiful state five years ago from Alabama and haven’t looked back. My free time consists of hiking with my dog, doing yoga, reading mystery books, and above all else- cooking! I love to try new recipes and restaurants so please feel free to share your recommendations 😊. I’m very much looking forward to meeting all of you and working together!”

Quality Assurance News & Updates

Be entered to win a $100 gift card for giving us your feedback!

It’s that time of year when we ask for your anonymous feedback about how we are doing. Our Family Caregiver and Host Home Provider satisfaction surveys are now open. On an annual basis we conduct satisfaction surveys for our providers. This information is used to implement solutions that will improve communication, stakeholder relationships, and quality of care. Survey outcomes are reviewed across the organization, a response plan is developed and communicated through the strategic planning process.

Check your email for a link to this year’s satisfaction survey. If you need a link, contact your Residential Program Coordinator or Laura Viers, Associate Director of Quality Assurance at laura.viers@supportinc.com

Host Home Provider of the Month!

Please join us in congratulating our September Host Home Providers of the Month, Edna and Darryl Pennington! Edna and Darryl have been Host Home Providers since December 2022 for the Pueblo Community Resources team which is part of the Support Inc. network. Edna has been part of Pueblo Community Resources direct care staff team since the inception of the company! She took a couple of years off and returned with her trademark sweet smile and generous heart when she was needed the most. They started as HHPs with 2 gentlemen in an existing home environment and then accepted a third individual in services just a few months later. During this time, they have excelled as providers, learned to use our system while settling into a new home. They live a little bit out of town, but still drive the men to different day programs, work commitments, counseling, and numerous medical appointments. Darryl has become very involved in the Special Olympics program as all 3 men are heavily committed to their sports. Darryl enjoys volunteering his time as a coach and recently worked with a team that built a large float for the Colorado State Fair Parade. Their float was awarded 3rd place out of 160 participating floats (see picture below)! Both Edna and Darryl enjoy stopping by Pueblo Community Resources Day Program to help serve everyone on hot lunch days and to connect with the people there. They are a bright spot in everyone’s day. Edna and Darryl provide their individuals in services with a family home setting that exceeds expectations. They are the definition of “People Helping People” and go above and beyond to support our individuals in services. We are so proud to see the progress the three men have made in their care and are excited to see their bright future. This is all thanks to the hard work of this amazing couple. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do, Darryl and Edna!!!
